MY WONDERFULL UNCLE JOHN...TRUTH IS I AM NOT REALLY SURE WHEN YOU DIED SO I HAVE HAD TO GUESS, AS I WAS NOT TOLD FOR MANY MONTHS AFTER.. YOU WAS THE ONLY GRANDAD I EVER KNEW!! THANKYOU FOR ALL THE WONDERFULL MEMORIES!! MY FONDEST MEMORY OF CHILDHOOD COME FROM YOU. STAYING AT YOUR FARM. I HAVE YOUR PICTURES AROUND MY HOUSE. I MISS YOUR MONTHLY PHONE CALL, JUST TO SAY HELLO MY LITTLE ROUNDY HOW ARE YOU!! AND I'M STILL ALIVE... HOW I LONGED TO BE ABLE TO VISIT YOU, I NO YOU KNEW THAT!! SAY HI TO CONNIE FOR ME. YOU MEEN THE WORLD TO ALOT OF US. NEVER WILL I FORGET MY UNCLE JOHN.........

GODS GARDEN
God looked around his garden
And found an empty place,
He then looked down upon the earth
And saw your tired face.
He put his arms around you
And lifted you to rest.
God's garden must be beautiful
He always takes the best.
He knew that you were suffering
He knew you were in pain.
He knew that you would never
Get well on earth again.
He saw the road was getting rough
And the hills were hard to climb.
So he closed your weary eyelids
And whispered, 'Peace be Thine'.
It broke our hearts to lose you
But you didn't go alone,
For part of us went with you
The day God called you home
footprints
One night a man had a dream. He dreamed
he was walking along the beach with the LORD.
Across the sky flashed scenes from his life.
For each scene he noticed two sets of
footprints in the sand: one belonging
to him, and the other to the LORD.
When the last scene of his life flashed before him,
he looked back at the footprints in the sand.
He noticed that many times along the path of
his life there was only one set of footprints.
He also noticed that it happened at the very
lowest and saddest times in his life.
This really bothered him and he
questioned the LORD about it:
'LORD, you said that once I decided to follow
you, you'd walk with me all the way.
But I have noticed that during the most
troublesome times in my life,
there is only one set of footprints.
I don't understand why when
I needed you most you would leave me.'
The LORD replied:
'My son, my precious child,
I love you and I would never leave you.
During your times of trial and suffering,
when you see only one set of footprints,
it was then that I carried you.'
